Two investigations have been opened in Paris targeting Nestlé and Sources Alma over allegations of illegal treatment of mineral waters. The cases stem from complaints filed by the association Foodwatch, which accuses the companies of engaging in deceptive practices. The investigations also touch on potential political lobbying, with reports suggesting the government may have influenced regulatory decisions in favor of Nestlé. Nestlé Waters previously paid a fine to avoid trial, but legal proceedings could revisit these actions.
